OUR MISSION STATEMENT
The mission of Early Childhood Center #61 is to provide student centered instruction to improve academic performance in the area of literacy in order for all students to become proficient readers, writers, listeners and speakers. To ensure student success, a safe and orderly environment will be provided which fosters responsibility and respect for self and others.

School Choice Applications Due December 4th
Applications available in the school office. Children who will be eligible for PreK or Kindergarten for the 2010-2011 School Year and students currently in 4th grade at E.C.C. #61 must submit applications to receive a placement for 5th grade.

E.C.C. School 61 wears uniforms. Uniforms are to be worn from the first day of school until the last day of school
Boys are required to wear yellow polo shirts and navy blue pants.
Girls are required to wear yellow polo shirts and navy blue pants, skirts or jumpers. Long sleeved polo shirts are available in our school office for $8.00.
Please continue the practice of students wearing uniforms. Our students look very studious in their uniforms and their new look fosters a positive learning environment for teaching and learning. If you are having dificulty providing the uniform for your child, please contact Mrs. Harris.
