|  Buffalo Professional Development and Technology Center (BPDTC)is a state of the art technology training center offering specialized instruction to both public and non-public school employees. Located on the 4th floor of the WNED building in downtown Buffalo, New York, the BPDTC offers three training rooms equipped with the latest technology devices, networks and software. Additionally, on-line conference rooms and research areas are available.
The Buffalo Teacher Resource Center occupies one wing of the center, which also houses key district curriculum offices. Largely funded at its inception by the Federal Technology Literacy Challenge grant, the center is administered by the BPS Department of Teaching and Learning.
Opening its doors on March 31, 2001, the training center represented a significant collaboration among Buffalo Pubic School district partners, which included: the Buffalo Teacher Center, Western New York Public Broadcasting, Center for Applied Technology in Education, Erie I BOCES and other higher education partners.
