Cooperating Teachers Wanted!
Buffalo Public Schools is looking for teachers who are willing to share their commitment to teaching and the Academic Achievement Plan with students who want to enter the teaching profession.

Professional Requirements

To serve as a cooperating teacher, you must have the following credentials:
  • Possess New York State Certification
  • Teach and tenured in the area in which he/she is licensed
  • 3- 5 years of successful teaching experience
  • Possess strong content knowledge in all areas for which the teacher has responsibility
  • Demonstrate a thorough understanding of the Academic Achievement Plan
Application Process
The Buffalo Public Schools is implementing a new procedure for the placement of student teachers. If you would like to serve as a cooperating teacher in the Fall of 2008, fill out the attached application and forward it to your principal.
