Buffalo Public Schools to Host Interviews for School Bus Aides and Food Service Workers

BUFFALO, N.Y. (Aug. 2, 2024) – Buffalo Public Schools Superintendent Dr. Tonja M. Williams announced today that the district’s Office of Human Resources will be conducting open interviews for school bus aides and food service workers on Saturday, August 10, from 9 a.m. through 1 p.m. at Waterfront Elementary, 95 4th Street, Buffalo, N.Y.
On Saturday, successful candidates will complete their Civil Service applications onsite. The following items must be brought to the interviews:
Photo identification as proof of residence in Buffalo.
At least three (3) of the documents below are dated within the past three months:
Lease or mortgage statement.
Utility, phone, or cable bill.
Bank statement.
Vehicle registration or insurance.
County budget sheet.
Medical bill.
The $10 cost for the background check can be paid using a credit or debit card, money order, or check. Chime, CashApp, and Venmo will not be accepted.
Free school bus shuttle service will be provided at 9 a.m., 10 a.m., 11 a.m., and noon from the following locations to the interviews at Waterfront Elementary.
Arthur O. Eve School of Distinction, PS 61, 453 Leroy Ave., Buffalo.
PFC. William J. Grabiarz, PS 79, 225 Lawn Ave., Buffalo.
Buffalo Public Schools Transportation Building, 105 Baily Ave., Buffalo.
There will also be return shuttle service to the above locations.
