The Ed Climate Survey is administered to measure school climate. It is critical for improving school climate because high-quality school climate data allows for understanding the perceptions of the students, staff, and parents in a school or district; monitoring progress; making data-driven decisions; involving stakeholders and adapting to shifting needs related to school climate.

2024-2025 Administration Information

  • Each school has been assigned a 3-week administration window, which will be communicated to the building principal and identified building liaison via email by November 2024.


  • For 2024-2025 staff (instructional and non-instructional), students (English and Spanish), and parents (English) will complete the survey during the same administration window. Please click the icons on the left to access the survey(s).

Parent Information

This survey is confidential and voluntary. This means your student’s individual responses will not be shared with anyone and he/she/they does not have to participate in this survey. As a parent or guardian, you may ask that your child not participate in this survey. This is called parent opt-out.

If you do not wish to have your child participate in this survey, please return this form to your child’s Main Office prior to the survey administration window.   One form must be completed for each child in the District. There are no consequences or penalties if your student does not participate.
