Electrical Construction is currently offered at McKinley High School

Electrical courses provide a survey of the theory, terminology, equipment, and practical experience in the skills needed for careers in the electrical field. These courses typically include AC and DC circuitry, safety, and the National Electrical Code and may cover such skills as those involved in building circuits, wiring residential, commercial, and/or industrial buildings, installing lighting, power circuits, and cables, and estimating job costs. As the program progresses, student projects become more complex and expansive.
