If a community-based organization (also known as "CBO" or "vendor") is interested in becoming pre-qualified to work within Buffalo Public Schools for supplemental programming, the organization must submit a program or service proposal. A proposal will include an outline of the organization's programs or services (see TIPS FOR SUCCESS proposal submission guide for more information).
Proposals submitted for the "Prequalification for Supplemental Student and Family Support Programs and Services" RFPQ (Request for Pre-Qualification) must be submitted through Buffalo School's online portal called Bonfire. To submit a proposal, a vendor must first register with Bonfire. Please see this step-by-step guide for registering with Bonfire for the RFPQ process.
For more information about the RFPQ process, visit the BPS Purchase Department's website, including How to Register with Bonfire instructions and Bonfire Registration Video Tutorial. Bonfire registration questions can be forwarded to the Director of Purchase, Jennifer LoTempio.
