Principal Leslie Potempa began her career as a School Counselor in 2001 after being employed in a not-for-profit human services agency.  She made a career change from School Counselor to Administrator in September of 2013 and has been employed in that role ever since.  She enjoys her career immensely.  The best part of her job is seeing students grow and develop into future leaders of our community.  She values the differences in students and loves that each child has their own personality and character that make da Vinci unique.  “It’s so exciting to see students evolve into mature, responsible, productive citizens, who make their mark in this world.  I am truly blessed to be a part of the da Vinci community.”  

Ms. Potempa is from Western New York, and she currently resides in Buffalo.  She loves the city and all it has to offer.  In her free time, Ms. Potempa loves to watch sports and hang out with her family.  She has two sons and a dog.  “Watching their ball games, family vacations and going for long walks are great ways to enjoy life.”
