To develop a complete mind: study the science of art; study the art of science. Learn how to see. Realize that everything connects to everything else. ~ Leonardo da Vinci
On May 8, 2018, Research Laboratory Program for Bioinformatics & Life Sciences celebrated the science and art achievements of our students with our 1st Annual Science Congress and Art Exhibit. This was truly a STEAM event, science - technology - engineering - art - math, and we could not be prouder of our student researchers and artists!
Thank you to the following who supported us in making this event a success:
Dr. Sandra Small who supported our investigations and behind the scenes planning to bring these big ideas to life.
Interdisciplinary Science & Engineering Partnership (ISEP) UB who graciously loaned us the easels for our displays.
Dr. Stephen Koury & Dr. Rama Dey-Rao for supporting the Bioinformatics Club in our first year of gene annotation research.
Our Research Lab staff who supported students in their science projects and art work! Mrs. Cullen, Mrs. Weihrich, Mr. Vosburgh, Mr. Cammilleri & Mrs. Mioducki
Jack Fitzgerald & the engineering staff at PS#200 for set-up and continued receipt of our science supply orders.
