Attention caregivers for students in grades 1, 3, 5, 7, 9, 11:
NYS law requires each child in odd grade levels have an updated physical examination on file with the school district. Please disregard this message if you have already provided this information to your student’s school.
If you have not provided this information to your student’s school, please provide a copy of an updated physical exam to the school nurse. The district medical team will begin conducting physical examinations for students after 30 days of this notice if the school does not have updated physical exam records on file. Please let your student know they may be examined at school for a clothes on physical examination. We encourage families to visit their own health care provider as the best choice for these exams as they can provide a more thorough exam. Should you have questions please contact your school nurse.
