Middle Early College High School will host several events throughout the school year. Monthly meetings have been posted to include participation during the school day. Other monthly events include the following:
1. Yoga and Meditation Sessions – sessions that help students and staff manage stress and increase focus. Check-out the app in Schoology.
2. Healthy Cooking Demonstrations – learn how to prepare quick and nutritious meals.
4. Fitness Challenges – students to participate in friendly competitions through fitness stations.
5. Art Therapy Workshops – express creatively through art projects like painting, drawing, or crafting to reduce stress.
6. Journaling and Reflective Writing – practice reflective journaling focused on mental health and gratitude.
7. Music and Sound Healing – explore how different sounds can help relieve stress and improve mood.
8. Relaxation Stations – comfortable seating, essential oils, and calming music where students can unwind between events.
9. Self-Care Workshops – build healthy habits such as sleep hygiene, time management, and personal care.
10. Peer Support and Circles – students can talk openly about their challenges, offer support to each other, and develop better communication skills.
These activities promote both physical and mental well-being while giving students practical tools to take care of themselves.
