MECHS Community Day Set for April 15: A Full Day of School Spirit and Fun
Middle Early College High School (MECHS) is excited to host its annual 415 Community Day on April 15th, bringing together students and staff for a day filled with school pride, activities, and celebration.
Throughout the school day, MECHS will be alive with energy as students participate in raffles during every period, with chances to win MECHS swag. During lunch periods, students can enjoy photo opportunities and interactive fun, creating lasting memories with their peers.

Student leaders from across Buffalo Public Schools met at City Hall for the BPS Inter High Student Council meeting. They toured City Hall, met with Superintendent Dr. Pascal Mubenga and city leaders, and shared ideas about our community. Thanks to the Student Support Department for helping students get involved in local government.







On this day in Women’s History, March 9, 1953, Rosa Parks was born. She would go on to become an iconic figure in the fight for civil rights, famously refusing to give up her bus seat and helping spark the Montgomery Bus Boycott.
