Dear OTC Parents & Families,
Happy New Year!
I want to provide some updates about the month of January 2024. Things have been going very well this school year and our students have been focused on their transition planning. We are really pleased to see the number of students that are making linkage to OPWDD and to access VR. This is aligned with our mission and comprehensive school improvement plan.
After school program - the after-school program is operational and has been meeting on Tuesdays and Thursdays. This will continue for the month of January, however there will be no programming during Regents Exam Week.
Regent exam week - there will be no school on January 23rd through the 26th. Classes will resume with the new semester beginning January 29th.
SBMT - our next SBMT meeting will be held on January 18th. This will be a hybrid meeting available in person or virtually. A link will be sent out to all families prior to the meeting.
Community school night - We have been very successful with our community school activities. We had over 120 people attend the December session. We are planning for January and looking forward to seeing everybody there. Community School night will take place on January 31st from 4:00 until 6:00.
