Dear Pre-Kindergarten and Kindergarten Parents/Guardians,
We hope this message finds you well and that you and your children are excited about the
upcoming school year. As we prepare for a successful start, we would like to invite you to our
“Ready Freddy” event and school supply drop off.
Ready Freddy is a special day dedicated to ensuring that all students are ready for the first day of
school. During the event you and your child will have the opportunity to:
1. Bring and organize school supplies: Please make sure all supplies are labeled with your
child’s name and grade level (please see enclosed supply list).
2. Meet the teacher: Your child will have a chance to meet their new teacher.
3. Get familiar with the classroom: Students can take a tour of their classroom and
become familiar with the layout and resources.
4. Receive important information: Parents will have the opportunity to receive any
necessary paperwork, handouts, or information related to the upcoming school year.
5. Ride the bus: Parents and students will receive important information on bus safety,
such as waiting safely at the bus stop, boarding and exiting the bus correctly, finding a
seat, and behaving appropriately while on the bus.
You will also have the opportunity to meet other parents, and your child will be able to meet
other classmates! We hope you attend!
