Yesterday all of our 5th graders had a chance to visit Highmark Stadium and meet Keon Coleman and his family. Thank you to the Keon Coleman Family Foundation for this wonderful opportunity. We read Keon's book and talked about our dreams, goals and superstars in our life. The foundation gifted the students with a copy of the book and warm winter jackets! It was a memorable experience for everyone.
Today is the International Day of Persons with Disabilities. Observed each year on December 3, this day raises awareness about the challenges faced by persons with disabilities and promotes their full and equal participation in political, social, economic, and cultural life.
