Mrs. Dawn Weihrich, Science
Mrs. Weihrich is a Biology Teacher in the Research Lab Program. She has been teaching Biology for 10 years at the secondary level. She enjoys teaching and pushing the students to reach their highest potentials. She strives to incorporate the latest technologies and laboratory equipment available to bring 21st century skills into the classroom and laboratory. She graduated from the University at Buffalo with a Bachelors in Science and went on to teach at a middle school in Florida. She learned a great deal about team work and maintaining a safe and productive learning environment. Upon her return to Buffalo, she has been teaching biology, anatomy and physiology, and environmental science and continues to learn new and exciting ways to bring science to life in her classroom. She graduated with her Masters at Buffalo State College where she researched the integration of technology into various disciplines and also researched how readability affects academic achievement. Mrs. Weihrich enjoys spending time at home with her husband and kids.
